Promote Wheelchair Basketball Jersey Youth

Youngsters across Jersey are to be introduced to wheelchair basketball next week in a bid to get more people taking part in the sport.
The Jersey Sports Association for the Disabled is the purpose of obtaining about 550 students to try this sport.

JSAD President Paul Patterson said: "There has been a tremendous take by local schools for children without disabilities to sit in a wheelchair.

"There is much support for people in wheelchairs as a result."

Programs in wheelchair basketball are running in schools in New Jersey next week, from Monday 15 until Friday 19 November.

National Wheelchair Basketball coach Nick Jarvis, is running the program.
